Ricoh £14m bailout appeal is refused

High Court judges have dismissed an appeal over a £14m bailout of the Ricoh Arena by Coventry City Council.

High Court judges have dismissed an appeal over a £14m bailout of the Ricoh Arena by Coventry City Council.

The Court of Appeal upheld a previous judicial review and rejected claims by the SISU group of companies, which owns Coventry City Football Club, that the loan made by the council in 2013 to ACL, which runs the stadium, was unlawful.
