Stoke-on-Trent City Council's new opposition leader, Dan Jellyman, certainly knows how to break down key local issues.

He was elected as Conservative opposition leader following Labour's victory in Stoke last month. He is the same member who resigned as deputy council leader earlier this year after approving – without the required permissions – the destruction of a red-brick statue of famous local potter Josiah Wedgwood.
