MPs have heard that relations between local authorities and housing associations have been ‘damaged' by the Government's deal on Right to Buy.

At a communities and local government select committee hearing on 16 November, councillors warned the agreement to allow 1.3 million housing association tenants to buy their homes at a discounted price risked hampering working relationships at a local level.
