Rochdale MBC appoint new chief executive

Rochdale MBC has appointed a new chief executive.

Rochdale MBC has appointed a new chief executive. Jim Taylor, previously the executive director at Tameside MBC, took over from retiring chief executive, Roger Ellis, last month.

Mr Taylor said he was looking forward to getting to work on a great opportunity. He began his career in education, teaching mathematics in Cheshire, Rochdale, Stockport and Wigan, before spending six years as head teacher in an inner-city Manchester high school.
