A dozen Rochdale Council staff associated with protection failings surrounding the infamous child exploitation ring face disciplinary action - it has emerged.

The news follows the publication in September of a local safeguarding review, which heavily criticised Rochdale's child protection practices including deficiencies among frontline staff.
