CHILDREN'S SERVICES

All-round safety for our children

Dez Holmes explains the role of the recently-launched programme to support children’s services to tackle child exploitation in all its forms.

The Tackling Child Exploitation (TCE) programme will see a consortium led by Research in Practice, The Children's Society and the University of Bedfordshire to help local authority partnerships develop responses to threats in their areas.

It aims to support local areas to develop an effective strategic response to child exploitation and threats from outside the family home, including child sexual exploitation and child criminal exploitation, such as county lines drug trafficking and modern slavery.
