A minister has been forced to clarify that Oflog is not attempting to replace the council audit system.

In response to a question from Labour local government spokesperson in the House of Lords, Baroness Hayman of Ullock, Government whip Lord Evans of Rainow incorrectly suggested that Oflog would ‘do the financial audit'.
