Rugby BC has dismissed claims of discussions within the authority about its abolition and the creation of a unitary authority.

Chief executive, Simon Warren, said: ‘While we await the Government's White Paper with interest, there have been no formal discussions with either Warwickshire CC or any of our sister district councils.'
