Rural web connection 'vital – and key issue for election'

Connecting rural communities to broadband is vital for job creation and should be a key election issue, according to a unique business backed by public sector funding. After the Government's plans for a broadband tax on telephone landlines failed to make it past Parliament's ‘wash up', the chief executive of NYnet, called for politicians not to ignore the issue.
