East Kent Housing Board has named Brendan Ryan as its first chief executive.

Mr Ryan has, until now, been acting managing director of East Kent Housing, and led the organisation through its set-up. Previously, he was director of community services at Thanet DC, and has also worked for Dover DC as head of housing.
