Shropshire Council chief executive,  Kim Ryley, has left the council to move to Cheshire East Council, following the departure of its own chief last month.

Mr Ryley has already been working with the authority on its improvement programme since Erika Wenzel left by mutual agreement on 30 June. He will now switch authority until his retirement.
