Tributes have been paid to the deputy leader of East Northamptonshire Council, Philip Hardcastle, who died last week.

Cllr Hardcastle had represented his Barnwell ward since 2003 and was a highly-regarded advocate of local government. His contribution to the authority was described by council leader Cllr Steven North as ‘immense'.
