Cyber security is one of the biggest threats of our time, which is why Whitehall is taking it very, very seriously.

So seriously, in fact, that the Government's new chief security officer, Dominic Fortescue, wrote a letter to Solace (the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives) president Martin Swales stressing the importance of promoting good cyber security among councils.
