It's been a while since the last Core Cities summit in Liverpool back in 2009.  But whilst the cities may not have felt the need to hold a summit since then, urban policy has not exactly been quiet.

The Core Cities agenda for devolution to drive growth has picked up pace and shifted from debate to delivery, from discussion to City Deals.
