Scots charity seeks job cuts 'to protect long-term future'

One of Scotland’s largest social care charities, Quarriers, has proposed to cut staff pay, in order to protect its services.

One of Scotland's largest social care charities has proposed to cut staff pay, in order to protect its services.

Quarriers wrote to its 2,000 workers last night, informing them that it was starting a 90-day consultation over pay and conditions, in order to protect the long-term future of the organisation.
