The Scottish Government must improve collaboration with health boards and councils to tackle the nation's health trends.

The Scottish Government must improve collaboration with health boards and councils to tackle some of the nation's worsening health trends, a report by Audit Scotland has found.

In a review of Scotland's 36 community health partnerships (CHPs), the spending watchdog says few of the bodies – established to connect health and social care services – which manage £3.2bn of Scotland's annual £13bn health and social and care budget, can influence how resources are used.
