Scots councils join forces to fill care gap

North and South Ayrshire councils have stepped in to protect homecare services after a local provider ceased trading.

Premier Home Care (Scotland), which provided services to almost 220 people and employed 97 workers across both authorities, closed its doors last week after advising the councils it could no longer continue operating.
