Scots 'would pay more council tax' poll finds

Two out of three Scots would pay more council tax if the money was earmarked for services like schools and social care, a poll has found.

Two out of three Scots would pay more council tax if the money was earmarked for services like schools and social care, according to a poll by Ipsos Mori. 

And a massive 90% of people believe more voters would turn out to local elections if it were clearer how their vote made a difference to local services.
