Scottish authorities agree further council tax freeze

All of Scotland's 32 local authorities have agreed to freeze council tax rates for another year.

All of Scotland's 32 local authorities have agreed to freeze council tax rates for another year as part of their funding offer from the Scottish Government.

The Scottish National Party (SNP) Government's offer, which was agreed in principle by councils last week, also included a commitment from local authorities to maintain police and teacher numbers despite the freeze.
