Scottish Cycling has announced the appointent of Craig Burn as its new chief executive officer, effective from 1 August 2011.

Mr Burn leaves his post as sport and outdoor education manager with North Lanarkshire Council, where he was responsible for managing the council's sports development, Active Schools, and outdoor education services.
