Almost 40% of care at home services in Scotland handed back their contracts to local authorities last year because of funding and workforce pressures, new research has revealed.

Almost 40% of care at homes services in Scotland handed back their contracts to local authorities last year because of funding and workforce pressures, new research has revealed.

Scottish Care, which represents social care services in Scotland, also found that half of homecare services did not tender for contracts offered by their local authority in 2017 for the same reasons.
