Kent County Council's decision to scrap its top post of managing director 'sends out a strong message to the staff' that no post or individual can avoid change, according to its leader.

Writing exclusively in The MJ this week Cllr Paul Carter says the decision at the end of last year to scrap the post filled by Katherine Kerswell was part of a series of changes to the council's governance structure caused by a combination of budget cuts and a new commissioning role.
