SCVO highlights third sector role in curtailing spending

The third sector holds the key to reducing public spending north of the border, according to the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).

The third sector holds the key to reducing public spending north of the border, according to the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).

In its response to the Scottish Parliament's finance committee consultation on preventative spending, the SCVO said the Government needs to draw on the experience and expertise of the third sector in order to bring public spending under control.
