Sector seeks guidance over social enterprises

Charities call upon key author of the Public Services Bill to work with councils on how to deal with social enterprises.

Charities have called for the key author of the Public Services Bill to work with councils and draw up national guidelines on how to deal with social enterprises.

The chief executive of the National Association for Community and Voluntary Action, Joe Irvin, said he hoped the Government would ‘task' MP Chris White with working with the Local Government Association and other organisations to produce the guidelines.
