Sector 'set to get worse' warns ADASS president

The president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services has warned that the sector is set to get worse before it gets better.

The president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) has warned that the sector is set to get worse before it gets better.

Speaking at last week's NHS Confederation conference, Peter Hay said almost £1bn was due to be taken out of social care budgets in England during the 2011/12 financial year.
