Ex-local government minister Bob Neill has urged the sector to ‘grab with both hands' the opportunity to influence the European Union (EU) debate.

Writing in The MJ this week, Mr Neill said the sector had so far said ‘surprisingly little' on the EU referendum and called on local government to explain its view – even if it was not unanimous.
