Chief Operating Officer

Our Chief Operating Officer will have a strong external focus to accelerate partnership working within East Sussex and with our local partners. This is a very high profile post and you will be a key member of our Corporate Management Team, working very closely with our Chief Executive and other Chief Officers to drive forwards major organisational changes.

Chief Information Officer:

Our CIO will have extensive business and ICT experience with a clear vision focusing on service delivery and implementing complex ICT programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to play a very influential role in developing an ICT strategy that is closely focussed on customer requirements.

Assistant Director for Strategic Finance:

This role will be the keystone in the Finance team, aligning our vision and priorities with the effective and efficient use of resources. As the Section 151 Officer for the Council you will have direct access to the Chief Executive and Elected Members when you need it, working very closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Corporate Management Team.

We are currently on an exciting journey to radically transform support services across East Sussex County Council and we are looking for exceptional and dynamic leaders with flair, credibility and a passion for promoting and supporting business transformation to play a major role in embedding this new way of working. We need people who are clear, strategic and creative thinkers to lead and motivate others and command the confidence of key stakeholders.
