Salary up to £61,950 p.a. inclusive
Applications are invited for the Head of Regulatory Services post. This is a key new post following a restructuring of the Department of Community and Environmental Services and offers an exciting opportunity for a well organised, enthusiastic and committed manager who is able to demonstrate their leadership skills.
Regulatory Services covers Development Management, Building Control, Land Charges, Car Parking, Land Terrier and Surveying Services, Licensing, the Environmental Health Commercial Team and Technical Support. Political awareness is an essential attribute for this position as well as an ability to motivate and develop staff. Regulatory Services is a priority, frontline group of services within the Council and has extensive engagement with our elected Members, residents, businesses and other stakeholders.

Valuation Surveyor
Salary up to £30,809 p.a. inclusive
Three Rivers District Council wishes to appoint a Valuation Surveyor to join their property section and provide a comprehensive estate management function. The role will proactively manage the Council's land & property holdings and enhance its occupancy, service and income levels. The candidate will be MRICS qualified with substantial experience in valuation, L&T work, acquisitions and disposals. An ability to negotiate, advise and liaise with internal and external property clients, stakeholders and third parties is essential.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate they are strong team players, have excellent written and verbal communication capability and be comfortable in presenting reports to Committees. Candidates must be numerate with strong IT skills and have experience of working on Asset Management database systems.
Working hours are 37 hours per week, flexible working is available. Candidates need to be mobile and an essential user car allowance is available.
