Serco, the international service company, has confirmed the appointment of Mohamed Djahanbakhsh as managing director of its education and learning business.

In his new role, Mr Djahanbakhsh will be responsible for running Serco's education and learning contracts, including Ofsted, North East Lincolnshire, Halton and Warrington, as well as continuing to develop products such as Serco's Progresso MIS for schools.
