Serco's plans to turn its business around have survived ‘first contact with the enemy,' but profits are still set to slide, according to chief executive, Rupert Soames.

The troubled outsourcing firm has announced a reported trading profit of £137.6m last year, compared to a £632.1m loss in 2014.
