WORKFORCE

Service Director, Service Provision Adults and Family Wellbeing

Since 2009 we've been doing more for adults and families. More, for less. Because the ambitious programme we've been rolling out to create a consumer-led marketplace, has helped us generate nearly £12 million in efficiencies. And that's where you come in.

Over the next year we expect to be helping 1,000 more clients than we did last year. You'll be providing the policy direction and leadership, operational management and financial control to keep us on track.

As the budget holder and principal professional adviser on all aspects of the service, you'll take a view on how services can be delivered differently and take the lead on making that happen. In effect, you'll be driving the service's re-design – and that means the chance to innovate and to take responsibility for all operational teams across the county. This role also presents the opportunity to build relationships with a range of external partners, including those in the Health field, in order to create a seamless service.

To deliver in the kind of ways we're looking for you'll need a proven track record in a large public sector organisation. And it will clearly show significant experience of partnership working and of steering a major change project.

We can't make the changes we want to make, we can't achieve more for adults and families, we can't deliver greater efficiencies without you. You matter.

And if what we want to achieve matters to you, call Anthony Hopkin on 07500 042 272 or Jonathan Swain on 07500 961 727 at Penna Executive Search for a confidential discussion about this opportunity, or visit our website to apply.
