Care bosses have warned against complacency as the latest figures reveal regional variations in service provision still exist around the country.

A joint report, Social Care Improvement, by the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) and the Local Government Association (LGA), which was published on 17 February claimed sector-led improvement was working well.
