Council leaders have warned services could still be under threat, despite a last-minute announcement by the Scottish finance secretary to hand back £160m to local authorities.

Speaking yesterday during a debate on the Scottish Budget, Derek Mackay said following a deal with the Scottish Green Party to pass the budget, councils would receive £160m more than previously thought.
