A system to allow councils to monitor whether they are meeting their seven Dementia Action Alliance objectives has been developed by Surrey CC and health partners.

The tool lets them collect social care and health data, and take into account the views of patients and carers, and was launched by care services minister, Paul Burstow. It will be made available to other councils from November.
