It's been a bad time recently for Westminster as a seemingly endless flow of allegations of sexual misbehaviour emerged, ranging from harassment to pornography to rape. Women in the House of Commons have found, it seems, the confidence to speak out in the wake of the scandal surrounding Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.
The wave of accusations has led to intense public discussion around the worrying issues involved, and every industry will now be asking if their codes of conduct and procedures are in order to protect vulnerable staff – mainly women but also men – against sexual predators.
