Alan Goodrum has been appointed as the shared chief executive for Chiltern and South Bucks DCs.

Mr Goodrum, who is a regular contributor to The MJ, has been chief executive of Chiltern for the last 16 years, and took up his new role on 22 February. Two joint director positions have also been filled. Bob Smith has been named as joint director of services, and Jim Burness as joint director of resources.
