Cumbria is taking a holistic approach to public services in the county improving quality and cutting cut red tape to make them easier to access and use, says Eddie Martin.

No-one can deny that shared services are the way of the future for the public sector. And in Cumbria I'm proud to say that we are at the forefront of this new way of working.
