Lewes DC has teamed up with neighbour Brighton and Hove City Council to collect food waste ahead of introducing a new £2m scheme to double recycling rates.

Brighton and Hove will provide management expertise under the one-year partnership agreement, which will enable Lewes to continue running weekly waste collections.
