Sharing services for bigger benefits

The Anglia Revenues Partnership (ARP), a group of seven local authorities working together to provide a shared service, is driving strategic and organisational change. Rob Bridge explains

Two years ago, Fenland DC, as part of its service transformation programme, joined Anglia Revenues Partnership (ARP).

We had already made significant efficiencies within our revenues and benefits team but were at a point where we needed a step-change to deliver the required further organisational efficiencies and maximise the opportunities for the council with the welfare reform programme and the increased importance of council tax and business rates collection.
