Property services firm, DTZ, which advises one-third of local authorities, has restated its commitment to the sector, following the shock departure of chief executive, Paul Idzik, and finance director, Bob Rickert.

DTZ's head of UK and Ireland business, John Forrester, has stepped in to replace former Barclays chief operating officer, Mr Idzik, and chief financial officer, James Thomson, was appointed to Mr Rickert's role.
