Capita and IBM are on the shortlist of potential partners for Somerset CC and Taunton Deane BC to improve support services.

Negotiations will be held between the two councils and the three companies over the next few months about a joint programme to improve services at both authorities. A preferred bidder is expected to be announced in November, and the contract will start in spring 2007.
