Shropshire Council is talking to potential devolution partners as local authorities in neighbouring Staffordshire and Worcestershire prepare to submit unitary proposals.

In the wake of the English Devolution White Paper, local government minister Jim McMahon has invited councils in Staffordshire and Worcestershire to submit interim unitary proposals by the end of next week.
