Shropshire Council sends out dismissal notices to 6,500 staff

Trade union bosses have criticised Shropshire Council after it sent out dismissal notices to all its 6,500 staff.

Trade union bosses have criticised Shropshire Council after it sent out dismissal notices to all its 6,500 staff.

The letters, which went out yesterday, state that council workers will be dismissed on 30 September unless they agree to a pay cut and changes to their terms and conditions.
