'Significant variation' in provision for UK stroke victims

The provision of care relating to strokes ‘varies significantly' across England, according to a review by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Although the commission found the South West and North East ‘particularly good' at providing support, it said this approach was ‘far from universal'.
