Buckinghamshire CC is expected to spend up to £50,000 on an outline business case exploring the benefits of a single unitary council for the county.

A report to senior councillors next week suggested the formation of an independent commission that would make a recommendation to the communities secretary on a brand new model of local government for Buckinghamshire.
