Council websites need to be as transactional as today's technology will allow them to be, as Martin Greenwood explains.

The 60 councils which have achieved the top ‘transactional' rating in this year's Better connected survey haven't just got good websites. They are also at the forefront of transforming the customer experience of local authorities and, most likely, well on the way to achieving significant efficiency gains, too.
