Slough BC has announced plans to offer shared-ownership mortgages to residents trying to get on the property ladder.

The council's cabinet will meet next week to discuss launching the scheme with mortgage brokers Censeo and a number of high street banks, including TSB, Halifax and Nationwide Building Society.
