Slough takes back its waste services

Slough BC has agreed to bring its waste and recycling collections back in-house when the current contract with Amey ends.

Slough BC has agreed to bring its waste and recycling collections back in-house when the current contract with Amey ends.

Councillors voted to bring the service back after the agreement with Amey finishes in December 2017 and transfer the staff to a local authority-owned Teckal company instead.
