Are small changes enough to fill the lack of housing?

Heather Jameson says the Local Authority Housing Fund is a drop in the ocean when it comes to buying homes.

We have come a long way since the early days of the Afghan evacuation and war in Ukraine, when large swathes of the country were adorned with yellow and gold in a show of unity.

Asking the community to accept housing queue-jumping to give refugees a home – however Whitehall presents it – risks not only their ire, but the whole cohesion of a place.
