A new social care challenge

Local government has made a strong case for adult social care funding but greater attention is needed on children's services, says John O'Brien

In the weeks leading up to the Autumn Statement, the local government sector was making a strong case about funding for adult social care.

It was quite right to do so for the reasons we and our health and wider partners know and which are regularly reported in The MJ.
